I was riding the bus to work this morning and I thought I would check out what was happening with the start of the 2021 Globe 5.80 Transat race. I tuned in just in time for the 5 minute gun and was fortunate to have perfect timing to watch the little fleet take off from Lagos, Portugal. Everyone was looking good and the little boats appeared to be ready for the challenge that lies ahead! Watching the skippers Michal, Severin, Etienne, and Peter take off into the unknown on the first real adventure for the 5.80s definitely gave me fuel for the fire to get cracking on Hull#157 and be ready for the M.G.R. 2024!
