I currently live in Seattle, Washington and work as an ABYC certified Marine Electrician at Pacific Coast Yachting Services.
Hello, I am Josh
Greetings fellow adventurers! From the small creek behind my best friends house as a kid, to the Cascades, to the mountains of Patagonia, to the summit of Denali. My pursuits as an avid alpinist the last 12 years have had me exploring the mountains and pursuing adventures across 3 continents.
After all of those years spent freezing my ass off in a cramped and smelly tent I decided that I would rather be cold and wet in a cramped and smelly boat. So I bought myself a small sailboat and learned how to sail it. Now I enjoy sailing my C&C 24 around Puget Sound about 1000nm each year. I have always dreamed of circumnavigating and when I heard about the Mini Globe Race it seemed like the perfect opportunity for an epic adventure.
I also enjoy photography and restoring and riding old motorcycles. I work as an ABYC certified Marine Electrician and Yacht Maintenance Technician which keeps me busy doing certified electrical installations and new electronics refits above and below the waterline, as well as some fiberglass repair and general marine systems troubleshooting and repair on yachts from 40-100ft.
