Hello fellow Globe 5.80 yacht builders and enthusiasts! I am super excited to get started building my ClassGlobe 5.80 mini yacht! There is not much to report yet as I have only purchased my plans for my hull #157 and ordered my CNC kit from B&B yachts in N.C. Recently I have received confirmation that my kit is being built and should arrive in a couple of weeks.

I have never built a boat before although, I do work on boats for a living at Pacific Coast Yachting Services. We have a 100 ton dry dock and do everything from haul outs for surveys and bottom paint to full electronic refits on yachts from 40-100ft. We are a full Garmin dealer and installer and also do full service and installations of all marine systems. If you’re in the Seattle area and need yacht service don’t hesitate to give us a call.

So needless to say, as an ABYC certified Marine Electrician, at least my Globe 5.80 will be wired right! If anyone has any questions about wiring their boats to the standards please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message. I will be adding updates as they come up and I hope that everyone will be as excited about this project as I am. Thanks for reading!
